Welcome to the latest edition of Ombudsman News. In this edition, we highlight our Plans and Budget for 2024/25 and changes to our award limits. We also share details of roles we’re currently recruiting for.
Welcome to the latest Ombudsman News. In this edition we give an update on the appointment of our interim chief ombudsman and new board members – and highlight some new content on our website looking at complaints involving economic and domestic abuse.

Nausicaa Delfas will be joining us as our interim chief executive & chief ombudsman, succeeding Caroline Wayman. Nausicaa joins from the Financial Conduct Authority, where she is currently the executive director of international and interim chief operating officer. Nausicaa will be joining the service in mid-May.
Recently we've welcomed two new members to our board of non-executive directors: Ruth Leak and Jacob Abboud.
People contact us when economic or domestic abuse has impacted them and their financial situation, and they think a financial business could have done more to help or step in. Or sometimes because they feel the financial business did something wrong and they've lost out as a result.
We've added some content about the types of complaints we see and can help with, so people who might need our help know what to expect.
We've also shared some information about how we handle complaints, so businesses know more about our approach.
We've recently published our 2021/22 plans and budget, together with information about how we'll measure our progress against our strategic priorities.
