We’re aware of news reports that the airline Flybe has entered administration.

Customers could be affected either through having booked flights through Flybe, or customers might be currently on a trip and have a flight home booked with Flybe.

We would advise customers to check their terms and conditions, the Flybe website and news reports for general advice on what you should do in these circumstances.

Customers may also find these pages helpful:

  • advice on travel insurance
  • advice on Section 75 claims, which is where customers have purchased good and services, like a holiday, using certain types of credit
  • advice on chargeback claims, which can also be used if customers have purchased a holiday using certain types of credit.

We would also advise customers to be wary of scams. If you are contacted by someone claiming that they are able to act to help you recover your money, it may be a scam.

We will update this advice as and when further information becomes available.

Note: This article relates to FlyBe entering administration in March 2020. We’ve published an updated article regarding the announcement of Flybe entering administration in February 2023.
